Hope Students

SUNDAY NIGHTS // 6PM

Hope Students is a ministry at Hope Church committed to the investment of middle and highschool students and their families. Our Student ministry gathers at the church on Sunday Nights at 6:00pm for games, dinner, and most importantly, time in the word.

Hope Church exists to make and send disciples of Jesus Christ, and our student ministry is committed to the very same mission. These Sunday night gatherings are a foundational time of spiritual growth and understanding who God is and who we are in light of Him. Each week we will walk through gospel and discipleship based lessons, and spend time discussing the scriptures and praying in small groups. At the same time that students meet, there is a parents group where families of students can connect and dive into the Word together in community. Our aim in hosting both the students gathering and the parents community group each Sunday night is to foster family discipleship while still allowing for the fun and laughter that is foundational for biblical community.

Get to know Ben and Caroline Sanders

Ben and Caroline met in college at the University of Alabama while serving in their local church. Ben moved to the Johns Creek/ Alpharetta area in 2021 working in I.T. while Caroline was finishing her Masters degree at Alabama. Ben and Caroline got married in September of 2022, and Caroline joined Ben in Alpharetta and now works for a group practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. They started attending Hope Church in December of 2022, and instantly felt at home.

The Sanders are passionate about Student ministry because they fully believe that the investment of middle and high school students is one that is vital not only for the student, but for their entire family. They feel called to serve the American Church, and could not be more excited to be a part of all that God is doing to and through Hope Church Union Hill.
