Do you really know Jesus or just know of Him? 

 

At Union Hill, our primary purpose is making much of Jesus by worshiping Him and extending His love to this community.  But before we can truly do any of that, we must know Him personally. 

 

When we accept Jesus into our hearts, we are inviting Him to begin a personal relationship with us.  As in any relationship, the more time you spend with Him, the more you'll know Him.  We spend time with Jesus through prayer and studying what the Bible says about Him, including Jesus' own words about who He is. 

 

Jesus Christ is God's son.  He was fully man and fully God, which means He is coequal with God and the Holy Spirit.  When the first humans, Adam and Eve sinned, God's plan was to send His son as a redeemer for all people.  Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world by dying on a cross.  After three days, He arose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death.  He ascended to Heaven but will return again someday to earth to reign as King.
